2004 freestar will not start?

At first time, the tranaxle light came on with jerking stop.I towed to transmission shop to check tansmission. But they could not find anything wrong. So I towed to garage for engine checking and they changed all electrical parts include spark plugs, wires, coil, crank sensor, cam sensor, etc.it cost 1700$ and it worked fine for 6days then stopped again. So they replaced fuel pump and fuel pressure regulatorthat cost 1300$.it worked only 2hours this time.

Question, you need fuel, air, and spark.- They'have changed eveverythingconcerning each need. Now, One thing I noyiced was not addressed, unless you simply missed telling me. That is the MAF sensor. Mass Air Flow sensor. It senses the amount of air the engine is getting and tells the electronic control modudule (ECM) how much fuel is needed proportionately for proper Air/Fuel ratio. The NAFsensor is the first sensor in the ducting coming out of the air cleaner, going to the engine intake. This is a common problem in starting and running issues. You can replace it yourself after checking the connector for good contact. Unplug it and plug it back in firmlly. If it starts and gives you anymore trouble, Replace it, Ck the price of one and it may be worth carrying as a spare or replacing it now. You can return it within a week or two if you don't install it. Good luck and please let me know the results.

Go to town hall on edmunds.com and look up 2004 Ford Freestar engine problems and be amazed. After the anger subsides, file a report with the NHTSA to become part of the investigation.
